Even if you haven’t found your path
Clear out the clutter right in front of you:
The withering laurels that block the light
And leave your soul in the dark, screaming
“I want more!”
Don’t fall for the disguised prison of glamour
Your line of credit is not meant for
Cars, weddings, and trips you can’t afford
While your soul starves for a lifeline.
And remember, the modern slave
Is brainwashed
With vision and mission statements to willingly
Accept being overworked, undervalued, and underpaid
For a venomous paycheck of a dying breath.
Take the first step into the depths
Where your freedom awaits.
That is the path you need to take
That is where the journey begins.

(Excerpt from MY SOLITUDE, MY SECLUDED WILDERNESS)
Often the thought of finding the path right for us is filled with doubt, anxiety, and anguish. Especially if we don’t really know ourselves – our talents, potential, and interests – it is difficult to decide what to do or even where to start.⠀
⠀
Sometimes all we can do is to clear the clutter that is right in front of your feet. This de-cluttering will then allow you to see the first step of the path. Then you clear the next step, and the next one. Slowly, step by step, the path will reveal itself. ⠀
