A great disturbance from within
can be the only way
to bring about
the tsunamis of change.
The change long awaited
yet never realized. All those times
you bit your tongue, let it
slide, took the hit. You negotiated
yourself for the sake of
outer harmony, but one day
you knew
everything depended on you to stand up,
speak out,
let go,
so that the waves
with their heavy blows
would finally crumble
the old ways.
